On Sunday, November 27, 2005, the Ransomville Lions Club will be holding their Annual Pancake Breakfast, at the American Legion Hall, in Ransomville. This year, we will be having Breakfast with Santa, and a Chinese Auction which will be held during the breakfast, along with boxes located at our breakfast for Toys for Tots. The reason for our Chinese auction is simply to help raise money to help people in need, assist the hearing impaired, provide diabetes awareness & education, develop youth programs within our community and have a good time. The primary goal of our Toys for Tots drive is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
I am asking you and your organization for a donation of a basket for our Chinese Auction or a brand new toy for Toys for Tots. The basket to be auctioned or donated toy can be anything that your imagination allows. In return for your donation, we will place the names and logos of your business as sponsors on the auction cards for each basket donated. Should you need someone to pick up your donation, arrangements can be made with Lion Tina Clark. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
